Lillian Walanka is the Principal Attorney of Crick Walanka Law Group in Chicago, Illinois. Since 1992, Ms. Walanka has successfully represented licensed professionals in disciplinary matters, petitions for restoration, initial licensing matters, and various other credentialing disputes. She continues the legacy of the firm established by Glen D. Crick, now deceased, that licensed professionals deserve the highest standards of representation.
Ms. Walanka has dedicated herself to zealously and compassionately protecting the rights and interests of licensed professionals by providing the highest quality of service to her clients through her years of experience before numerous state licensing boards such as the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), various other state and federal regulatory agencies, as well as hospitals, certification boards, and insurance companies. A former educator, she thoroughly identifies and develops the best defense for each individual case utilizing her skills and a vast array of resources.
Lillian Walanka has been licensed to practice law in Illinois since 1990. Prior to joining the firm previously known as Glen D. Crick, Ltd. in 1992, she gained valuable insight into the disciplinary process as a prosecuting attorney for the IDFPR. Ms. Walanka also worked as a teacher from 1971 through 1987. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from DePaul University College of Law and holds a Master of Arts degree in Reading from Northeastern Illinois University as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Education from the University of Illinois.
Ms. Walanka is a current member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Decalogue Society. She is a contributor to the ABA publication, Physician Law Evolving Trends & Hot Topics 2019.
In her spare time, Lillian enjoys reading, traveling, attending musical and sporting events and spending time with family and friends.
